Мяч Бундеслиги сезона 2012-2013 по традиции получил название Torfabrik, что в переводе с немецкого значит «Фабрика голов». Первый «Торфабрик» появился в 2010 году, сейчас это уже третья версия.
Фабрика голов, распространённое прозвище для много забивающей команды. В районной лиге Крефельда (Вестфалия) играет любительская команда «Торпедо Торфабрик«. Тамошние футболисты действительно забивают порядочно.
Немецкая профессиональная футбольная лига существует с 1963 года, поэтому 2013 сезон стал юбилейным 50. Производители мяча Torfabrik не оставили его в стороне от праздника и нанесли соответствующий логотип 1963-2013.
В мяче «Фабрика голов» успешно использованы передовые технологии изготовления мячей, новый современный дизайн с блестящей комбинацией красного и серебряного цвета, что вполне соответствует официальным цветам Бундеслиги.
Torfabrik является потомком мяча Танго 12, поскольку сделан по тем же технологиям. Как и во всех современных мяча, Торфабрик сделан по технологии термосшивки (термосклеивания) панелей, которая заключается в следующем: панели и каркас мяча, состоящий из латексной камеры и четырёх подкладочных слоёв материала «склеивают» друг с другом в специальной форме при повышенных температурах. За счет такой технологии производства результаты тестов мяча на поглощение влаги и сферичность показывают значения, намного превосходящие самые строгие требования FIFA.
Технология 360 Sweet Spot — 5 и 6-угольные панели мяча имеют модифицированную форму, благодаря чему давление в мяче распределяется равномерно, образуя идеальную сферическую форму, делая полет мяча ровным, стабильным и позволяет ему держаться заданной траектории.
Кроме обычной классической версии была выпущена зимняя версия Torfabrik Turbo Winter.
Torfabrik зарекомендовала себя как символ Бундеслиги и высоко ценится поклонниками футбола.
